Sr. Tool Crib Attendant

THE WORK \- Follow instructions and specified methods and procedures to procure, repair, receive, store check and issue a variety of tools and shop supplies such as drills, reamers, counterbores, masking tape, batteries etc\., against foreman’s requisitions or workers signatures\. \- Maintain special tool location records: keep running inventory of incoming, on hand and out going supplies through use of electronic database and/or paper media and notify Foreman when shortages are indicated\. \- Check and regulate stock limits and initiate necessary requisitions to replenish supplies when indicated\. \- Plan and conduct required periodic inventories and report irregularities\. \- Assist and coordinate with lower grade attendants relative to storage, receipt and issuance of items\. \- Check all tools returned for damage calibration requirements and paper work accompanying damaged tools\. \- Etch identification marks on tools and perform other related duties in any of the cribs at the request of Foreman\. \- Also check precision tools for up to date periodic inspection marking\. \- Arrange for tool calibration through internal or external vendors to ensure that no work stoppages occur resulting from out of calibration tools\. \- Refer unusual conditions or problems to Foreman\. \- Occasional interface with the external customer is required\. \- Follow all rules and regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety\. \- As required, segregate waste material and follow good housekeeping practices\. You will perform a variety of tool control duties to insure availability of Sikorsky, Government or vendor supplied tooling required for the manufacture of parts to support the overhaul, repair, modification and/or refurbishment of aircraft\.
