Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Test Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team focused on developing next-generation stretchable circuit technology. This role involves owning the full test lifecycle, from designing test plans and building fixtures to running tests and analyzing data to validate the performance of proprietary circuits under mechanical stress and electrical load. The position offers autonomy and requires a hands-on, proactive approach to building test setups from scratch.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute test plans for stretchable circuits, with a focus on electrical performance under mechanical deformation.Build or specify test fixtures and setups, both mechanical and electrical.Set up and operate electrical measurement systems, including digital multimeters, data acquisition systems, and oscilloscopes.Analyze test data using Excel, Python, or MATLAB.Write clear reports and communicate findings to the broader engineering team.Support failure analysis and root cause investigations.Help define and refine test infrastructure and processes.Essential Skills5-10+ years of experience in test engineering, validation, or similar roles.Strong experience with electronics lab equipment and mechanical testing tools.Ability to independently develop test plans and measurement systems.Comfortable working in a startup or fast-paced R&D environment.Familiarity with SPI/I2C protocols and basic electrical principles, such as Ohm’s law.Experience with mechanical stress testing, including stretch, bend, torsion, abrasion, and impingement.Additional Skills & QualificationsBS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Experience developing custom test solutions for hardware-based products.Experience with test data collection and analysis using programming languages, MATLAB, or Excel.Experience writing detailed test plans and reports.Bonus: Experience with long-term reliability or accelerated aging tests.Bonus: Experience with stretchable or elastic materials.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $51.00 - $75.00/hr.
