Position OverviewBy Light is looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer to provide Quality Assurance for leading, overseeing and executing the testing of software applications.
Responsibilities Develop and execute test cases to ensure that the application is working according to requirementsDevelop a test plan to execute overall testing of the applicationSupport RTM development to ensure that all requirements have been validatedDeliver results and review fix plan for retestParticipate in recurring project meetings with the team and the clientConduct Security, Performance and Regression testingContinuously evaluate and improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectivenessWork with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and business stakeholders, to understand product requirements and ensure testing activities are aligned with project goalsConduct manual testing Required Experience/Qualifications 2-4 years relevant experience required.College degree or equivalent years of experienceStrong understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and toolsAbility to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes of defects, and make informed decisionsWriting and Executing Manual Test plansAbility to lead and mentor junior test engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environmentExperience with tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar systems for defect managementMS Office tools ExperienceExperience with functional, integration, regression and performance testingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Preferred Experience/Qualifications Section 508 or Accessibility Compliance experience, is a plus.Automation testing.Technical writing experience.Experience working on government projectsActive clearance a plusSpecial Requirements/Security Clearance Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareRefer this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
