Sr. Technical Curriculum Architect, Training & Certification
Description Join our team as a Sr. Technical Curriculum Architect in the AWS Training and Certification TechCatalysts organization where we build Curriculum and Self Paced Labs to support our customers. You will be responsible for helping customers, both learners and organizations, stay at the forefront of AWS Cloud innovation by acquiring, validating, and deploying skills so that they can successfully deliver on their business objectives. You will be responsible for working with our AWS Service and business teams. You will connect the dots between our training and development programs, businesses, the hiring leaders and the supply of talent to our AWS customers by understanding the economics of technical talent. You will deeply understand our customers' learning needs and define the end-to-end customer experience (content, technology, delivery). You will partner with our engineering teams to deliver Learning Products to meet these needs. You will determine how to measure the customer experience and relentlessly drive improvements based on data. You will prioritize initiatives and create a roadmap to meet customer needs and partner cross-functionally to ensure the right customer experience is delivered Key job responsibilities • Obsess over customer needs by working directly with our service teams to engage customers and understand their needs, use cases, and priorities • Dive deep into the requirements that enable our parter builder teams to deliver with speed, agility, and accuracy. • Prioritize initiatives and create product roadmaps to help facilitate focus and trade-off decisions. • Develop business cases, strategy, requirements to increase speed and CSAT • You get to play! Dive into AWS technologies and solutions, covering domains such as AI/ML, Containers, Serverless, Cloud Operations, and Developing, to understand the services and develop effective training for our AWS customers • You get to work across AWS teams! Work with audience representatives to understand training needs and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts across AWS • You get to make things happen! Whether you’re building relationships with service teams to shape content, or facilitating requirements gathering sessions to define innovations on how training is absorbed, you’ll be a key influencer on how AWS educates customers on services and features A day in the life Meet with the Service Teams and Developer teams, lead Service team engagement, actively participate in the strategy for your domain, build detailed design documents for curriculum learning products, and provide technical SME expertise. Use your creativity to innovate new ways to deliver faster while improving training products. Develop strategies to maintain the curriculum up to date with the market/technical trends. Basic Qualifications • 3+ years experience architecting systems built with Amazon Web Services or any Cloud platforms - Focus on GenAI • 6+ yrs of experience in programming, systems architecture or systems administration • Technical degree (e.g. Computer Science) or 4+ yrs relevant work experience in technical industry required • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition • Experience partnering and driving alignment with various teams and stakeholders Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge and/or hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure services. • Technical domain expertise: 3+ years experience building AI/ML models, with expertise in general artificial intelligence or machine learning algorithms and techniques OR 5+ years domain expertise in: Cloud Operations, DevOps, and Security • Current AWS Certification (Professional) • Experience designing, developing, and delivering instructional materials for technical content. • Highly independent and capable of quickly ramping up on complex projects. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $215,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
