The Sr. Team Manager, Workday HRIS will lead a team responsible for implementing, optimizing and managing Workday HRIS solutions that support the overall Workday HRIS strategy and the organization’s strategic goals.  This includes creating and delivering plans and roadmaps for system improvements and remediation, continuous optimization of Workday and other HR technologies capabilities, driving platform strategy including digital transformation initiatives, aligning system functionality with organization objectives, overseeing product delivery across all of HR, and building relationships and partnering with key HR and Schwab technology stakeholders.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Build and lead a high-performing HR technology product managers team, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration.  Deliver against the strategic roadmap for Workday and HR technology solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and scalability for future needs.Oversee Workday’s optimization by analyzing system performance, gathering business insights, and identifying opportunities to enhance functionality and experience.Implement system updates, new features, and integrations in collaboration with IT and vendor teams to enhance the Workday user experience, operational efficiency and organizational performance.Conduct regular audits of system usage, performance, and data integrity to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous optimization.Manage and coordinate projects related to Workday enhancements, integrations, and upgrades, as well as other HR technologies, ensuring timely delivery within budget.Partner with HR leadership to identify technology needs and design solutions that support talent strategies, employee experience initiatives, and workforce planning.Deliver digital transformation in HR by leveraging Workday’s advanced capabilities, including AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics, to enhance decision-making and efficiency.Collaborate with HR, Schwab Technology, and other business units to ensure seamless integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems.Monitor HR technology trends and emerging innovations, providing recommendations to HR leadership on adopting tools and practices that enhance business outcomes.Serve as primary liaison for vendor relationships, including Workday and other third-party providers, to ensure high-quality service and alignment with organizational needs.Identify and develop innovative solutions within Workday to meet evolving business needs.Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of in-depth experience delivering large-scale HR technology transformation initiatives, preferably in large organizations, with a focus on HR Workday implementation and optimization.5+ years of experience building and leading high performing HR technology teams. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Deep understanding of HR processes, advanced technical expertise in Workday, and a strong ability to align technology with business goalsDemonstrated project leadership experience managing large-scale HR technology projects.Expertise in Workday modules, configurations, and integrations, with a strong understanding of HR processes and compliance requirements.Strategic mindset with a track record of aligning HR technology with business objectives.Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skillsWorkday configuration experience is a plus.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a large, complex organization.
