Job DescriptionThe anti-fraud team works with two main systems, one of which is responsible for monitoring transactions and then communicating with third parties to verify whether the transactions are in order or if it is an attempted fraud, and another system that assists other modules in calculating fees and the like. We currently have 6 engineers with extensive knowledge in developing and monitoring systems.
Development and maintenance of projects in Golang/Java language with deployment on AWS. Proactively contributes to the betterment of other engineers in the company, through sponsoring, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback. Consistently leads their squad to good outcomes from a technical perspective, ensuring appropriate engineering decisions are made to factor in technical debt, systems design, stability, reliability, monitoring, observability, and business need. Participation in technical analysis with product team requirements. Execution of Terraform to create or remove new resources on AWS. Monitoring applications through logs and metrics.
This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experienceBe based in India.
