This System Analyst has a technical background with Retail POS as well as ERP systems and applications and understands Retail, omnichannel and e-commerce processes in general. In this role, you help analyzing business needs and create IT concepts to implement new processes, solutions, applications or even systems. Responsible for resolving application, software and connectivity problems.

 

What you can expect:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

\n\nUnderstand and support retail business processes and functionality focused but not limited to Point of Sale front- and backend application and systems\nParticipate in and contribute to US and international IT related Retail projects \nGather and document business requirements, processes changes and workflows\nIntegrate and implement new processes and solutions into existing system landscape\nSupport formal testing conducted by the business for system modifications and fixes\nManage and monitor system communication (interfaces)\nCreate/edit training documentation using a variety of media\nProvide end-user and internal training\n

 

Your profile:

\n5 years’ experience in similar roles\nMinimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university\nAble to interface with internal customer and IT Management to communicate complex ideas clearly\nAble to grasp complex technical concepts quickly and produce detailed requirements documents\nExperience in supporting and configuring Oracle Retail Xstore Point of Service (POS) system\nKnowledge of Xstore modules, including sales, inventory, and promotions\nFamiliarity with SOVIA (Store Operations Visibility and Insight Analytics) for real-time monitoring and analytics\nAbility to troubleshoot and optimize SOVIA for better performance\nExpertise in supporting SIVIS (Store Inventory Visibility and Intelligence System)\nKnowledge of SIVIS data structures and ability to perform data analysis\nKnowledge of any CRM or eCommerce solutions is preferred\nGather and document business requirements, processes changes and workflows\nCreate/edit training documentation using a variety of media\nAble to occasionally travel internationally - valid passport required.\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations; ability to prioritize and manage commitments and adjust to changing priorities\nAnalytical, independent, structured, and careful work attitude, as well as organizational talent and assertiveness\nExcellent oral and written communication skills in English\nSpeaking other languages like German, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.\nAble to lift 50lb\nWhile we value experience and education in candidates, we also look beyond just the skill set and try to find individuals with the right mix of experience, skill, and values \n
