Do you want to work in one of the most innovative businesses at Amazon? Amazon Devices is looking for a Sr. Supply Chain Manager for its portfolio of devices and accessories sold in Brazil.

This role sits within the BR Devices team and is the leader responsible for supply planning, inventory allocation, order management, international logistics and vendor support, for a category of current and upcoming Devices, and is responsible to deliver process improvements, automation and customer experience improvements, within the team’s project roadmap.

The Sr. Supply Chain Manager is responsible for developing and executing best practices in managing inventory, supply chain, international shipments and operations to maximize customer experience, sales, in-stock rates and inventory turns. This individual has responsibility for ensuring all inventory systems and processes are meeting the needs of the business and implementing controls around these processes. She/He also needs to drive improvements in inventory availability and cost reduction, implementing scalable solutions that will our long-term business strategy.

The Sr. Supply Chain Manager coordinates the work of other Supply Chain Managers (peers), being the main point of contact for Supply Chain related topics within the Amazon Devices team in Brazil.

A successful candidate possesses business judgment, in-stock, supply chain and/or operations management experience, strong skills in working collaboratively and cross functionally, analytical capabilities, including experience handling large and complex data sets.

The position requires an individual who can work both autonomously and collaboratively in a demanding and often ambiguous environment with attention to details and effective prioritization.

Key job responsibilities
Manage our end-to-end planning processes and workflows across the devices network for Amazon Devices
Manage end-to-end importation and distribution processes
Create and implement inventory allocation strategies to optimize inventory placement, sales, turns, and customer experience
Provide guidance to other supply chain managers in the Devices BR team
Act as the main point of contact for supply related topics in the Devices BR team
Partner regularly with a broad set of stakeholders including WW planning, sales, finance, marketing and other teams
Own and communicate demand insights and supply allocation plans to key cross-functional internal stakeholders
Facilitate data-driven decision-making with sales and marketing leaders
Invent and simplify processes to ensure we are constantly improving operations for our internal and external customers

About the team
Our team is responsible for distribution, marketing and sales of Amazon Devices product lines as Kindle, Fire TV and Echo with Alexa, in Brazil. Our products are distributed by Amazon.com.br and other retail partners.
