Sr. Strategy Consultant, Sales

Numerator is seeking a Sr Consultant, Sales Strategy to drive critical initiatives that shape the future of our commercial organization. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a data-savvy, commercially minded strategist who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys turning ambiguity into clarity and ideas into action. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting directly into the Sales Strategy & Enablement team, with regular exposure to commercial leadership.
You’ll be a key player in uncovering growth opportunities, improving sales effectiveness, and ensuring the right teams are focused on the right bets. You’ll proactively identify gaps and opportunities and bring forward solutions that influence decisions at the leadership level.
This role is ideal for someone who blends strategic thinking with executional muscle, and who’s motivated by the chance to make meaningful contributions that are seen and felt across the business.
What You'll Do:
+ Diagnose sales performance to uncover insights that sharpen execution and drive revenue.
+ Identify whitespace and strategic priorities to accelerate pipeline and focus teams on high-value deals.
+ Build and scale systems that increase win rates and retention by strengthening our RFP execution, deepening client relationships, and improving field engagement.
+ Partner with commercial leadership to align on priorities and guide data-driven decisions.
+ Track the competitive landscape and act as the go-to resource for navigating competitor-driven obstacles.
+ Lead cross-functional workstreams that turn vague problems into scalable solutions for how we sell.
+ Create clarity in ambiguity and generate momentum that turns strategy into results.
Success in this role looks like improved sales velocity, win rates, and adoption of strategic plays across the field.
+ 6-10 years of experience in sales strategy, GTM operations, consulting, or business planning.
+ Solid understanding of B2B sales models, ideally in SaaS, insights, or other recurring revenue environments.
+ Strong data fluency.
+ Excellent communication skills: you can distill complexity into compelling, executive-ready narratives.
+ Proven ability to lead through influence and drive alignment across stakeholders and functions.
+ A track record of identifying and owning problems from discovery through execution.
