The Senior Staff Engineer will travel to various PCA locations to support projects across the organization, both in manufacturing plants and paper mills. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, 5+ years in industrial paper and/or corrugating, or design engineering environment. This is a hands-on position, working side-by-side with the leaders, craft, and personnel to drive the projects to completion. Bachelor of Science: Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology 10+ years as an Electrical Engineer, Electrical Manufacturing Engineer, or Electrical Field Tech Support Paper Mill or Box Plant Experience is a plus Converting Machine Installation Experience is a plus Required Experience: Project Management – Be Part of a Project Team Excellent Communications Skills Manage Budgets and Schedules MSProject Experience is a plus AutoCAD Experience is a plus Develop Scope of Work Documents for: New Installations, Greenfield and Brownfield Rebuild Projects Supporting all Aspects of Electrical Installation Lead Bid Walks and Reviews Manage Contractors Specification and Installation of Power Distribution Equipment – 480V Switchboards/Panels AC/DC Motors and Drives- Troubleshooting, Maintenance Start-up 480V Motor Control Center Specification and Installation Variable Frequency Drives: Siemens, Rockwell PowerFlex Drives General Knowledge of PLC’s and Controls Troubleshooting ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, PLC5 families; Siemens PLC PLC Controls Design – Hardware and Software Operator Interface: Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View, PanelView General knowledge of IT Systems and Network Infrastructure Good Working Knowledge of the NEC and NPFA-70E Live anywhere in Continental US within a reasonable commute to a Commercial Airport Travel 70-80%
