We are seeking a highly experienced and deeply technical Android Automotive. Bluetooth Engineer to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of in-car connectivity, focusing on the robust integration and optimization of Bluetooth technologies within the Android Automotive OS (AAOS) platform. With over 10 years of specialized experience, you will lead complex technical initiatives, troubleshoot challenging issues, and ensure our Bluetooth solutions meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and industry certification.
What you'll do…
+ Lead the design, development, and integration of the Bluetooth stack within the Android
+ Automotive OS (AAOS) platform, ensuring seamless functionality and high performance.
+ Drive the implementation and optimization of Bluetooth Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) interfaces, bridging the gap between hardware and software components.
+ Collaborate closely with hardware teams, software architects, and product managers to define requirements and deliver cutting-edge Bluetooth features for automotive infotainment systems.
+ Spearhead efforts to achieve and maintain CTS (Compatibility Test Suite) certification for Bluetooth functionalities on AAOS devices, resolving any compliance issues.
+ Architect and implement solutions for advanced Bluetooth profiles and use cases relevant to the automotive domain (e.g., hands-free calling, audio streaming, device pairing, keyless entry).
+ Perform in-depth analysis and debugging of complex Bluetooth issues, utilizing various diagnostic tools and methodologies.
+ Mentor junior engineers, provide technical leadership, and contribute to the overall technical strategy and best practices for Bluetooth development within the organization. · Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Bluetooth technology, Android platform updates, and automotive industry standards, integrating relevant innovations into our products. · Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and ensure high code quality and maintainability.
You'll have…
+ B.S. in Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
+ 10+ years of progressive experience in software development, with a strong focus on Bluetooth technologies.
+ Extensive hands-on experience with Bluetooth stack integration on embedded Linux or Android platforms.
+ Deep expertise in Bluetooth HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) implementation, customization, and debugging.
+ Demonstrable experience working with and contributing to the Android Automotive OS (AAOS) platform.
+ Proven track record of successfully guiding products through CTS (Compatibility Test Suite) certification, specifically for Bluetooth functionalities.
+ In-depth understanding of Bluetooth core specifications (e.g., BT 5.x), profiles (e.g., HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, PBAP, MAP, GATT), and protocols.
+ Proficiency in C/C++ and Java/Kotlin programming languages.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues across hardware and software layers.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
