Job DescriptionDevelop a Data Governance Framework: Develop and implement organizational structures, processes, and standards to manage our company's data assets and ensure seamless and secure access to trusted data for all business areasBuild a Data Governance Community: Establish and maintain a data-centric community of business domain owners and data stewards who enforce data quality measures and develop data use cases that add value to the companyCollaboration: Work with stakeholders in the company and IT to establish and maintain data standards, including data definitions, business rules, and data lineage; represent and enforce data governance issues in projects and work with strategic vendorsProvide Tooling: Take responsibility for the established data governance tools and ensure their continuous development and acceptanceData Security & Compliance: Establish and monitor processes to manage data security and privacy controls to protect data assets and ensure compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAAData Retention Policies: Develop and enforce data retention policies to determine how long data should be retained and how it should be disposed ofTraining: Offer training on best practices in data governance to ensure employees understand their roles and responsibilities in managing dataQualificationsDegree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification -HTL/FH/(Technical) UniversitySeveral years of experience in data related topics preferably data governanceSolid grasp of related technical architectures and toolsKnowledge about (data) governance frameworks like DAMA, DICAM, COBIT or TOGAFUnderstanding of metadata management and master data management principlesExperience with data quality tools and techniques, ensuring accuracy and consistency of dataKnowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data management and governanceFamiliarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similarExperience in setting up and leading virtual organizations or communitiesFamiliarity with agile methodologies and practicesFluent proficiency in German (C1) and English
Additional Information:
Your minimum salary starts at € 4.270 gross per month (14 x p.a.) based on full-time employment (38,5 hours per week). Depending on your specific professional experience, there is a corresponding willingness to overpay.
