Withholding and Reconciliation is a niche group within Tax and Cost Basis Operations that serves to reconcile our withholding accounts, file timely returns for both state and federal entities and remit withholding to both the IRS and state government every day. Duties will include:
Monthly, quarterly and annual returns with various state and federal filings in addition to filing detailed electronic filingsReconciliations of variances between numerous systems to ensure our various state and federal filings are in orderResearch and resolve notices received from the state and federal government agenciesOversee withholding rates changes issued by states and the treaties issued by the federal governmentDevelop and maintain processing procedures for the teamCoordinate with internal business partners to ensure maintenance of tax databasesPartner with external partners and vendors to ensure compliance with regulationsWork closely with outside groups to develop new processes and identify mutually helpful opportunities for improvement in the overall process(es)To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
What you haveRequired Qualifications:
2+ years of accounting, tax, finance or reconciliation experienceExperience in training and mentoring team membersExperience in using access database, pivot tables, and nested Excel formulasBachelors degreePreferred Qualifications:
