Job brief

A Training Manager devises the organizational training strategy, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes. Identify training and developmental needs and drive suitable training initiatives that build loyalty to the firm.

A Training manager works across many departments to get employees up to speed in both their specific vertical, and the overall needs of the company; often have backgrounds in business, leadership, human resources, development and education, for an extra, can have marketing and public relationships backgrounds.

Training manager responsibilities include enhancing employees’ skills, performance, productivity and quality of work.

Responsibilities

Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations for each client (internal and external).

Deploy a wide variety of training methods, for all the different kind of activities.

Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions to his work team so that good practices can be pass to the Field Force Team and Clients Sales Force.

Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them.

Manage training budget.

Provide opportunities for ongoing development.

Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary.

Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices

Activities

Meetings:

Weekly Telcel meeting for the review of specific activities of that client.

Weekly NPI meeting to know the progress of all the activities of the organization, new products, promotions and special activities.

Weekly Mexico training team meeting, to review last week's training results and generate action plans for the following week and important announcements.

Weekly Trade Marketing meeting, to align the actions to do as an area.

Appointments with clients, for new projects ideas and training confirmations.

Budget and Targets

Budget analysis for the quarterly execution (giveaways, moto van rebrand, training sessions, courses, special uniforms for PR events, new providers)

Analysis of the target for each trainer, according to the percentage of participation of each region and area and divide by type of activity

Invoice request to suppliers

Insiders

Development of a new platform for Motorola Insiders, where Mexico is the first country to migrate, supervision of each section and content, generation of links for the rewards company for LATAM

LATAM and Materials

Weekly LATAM training call, to align the actions with the region

Spanish asset review (infographic and sell sheet)

Translation of Portuguese materials into Spanish (PPT, video scripts, moto tips)

Massive dynamics for all the countries

Special weekly assets contents, demolitions guides and comparatives

Shop Display material review to print

Marketing and clients events

Coordinate de execution of every PR, MKT and clients events, with trainers assignation and dynamics and presentation ideas.

Training

Coaching and mentoring for trainers and master trainers.

Field visits around de country to feedback trainers activities.

Interviews for trainers vacancies.

Analysis and weekly control of events budget.

Filling drives of every kind of information from all the areas.
