Our Syndication Servicing Team plays a critical role in managing syndicated loans, ensuring compliance, and providing outstanding service to our clients and partner banks. We are seeking a Commercial Loan Syndication Servicer to join our team. This role will focus on servicing commercial loans agented by CIBC US, as well as loans agented by other financial institutions, in accordance with the bank's policies and procedures. **Key Responsibilities** + Act as a liaison between the bank, customers, and participant banks to ensure smooth communication and loan servicing. + Reconcile CIBC systems with notices from other banks to ensure accuracy. + Review and validate data integrity through appropriate reports. + Analyze and review legal documentation for compliance and accuracy. + Perform other tasks and projects as required within the department. **Qualifications** Education and Experience: + Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan servicing within a financial institution. Skills and Competencies: + Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and integrity of information. + Excellent prioritization and analytical skills. + Ability to meet deadlines while delivering exceptional customer service. + Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). + Experience with ACBS and Metavante systems is preferred. + Understanding of accounting and banking systems. Develop strong relationships with banking Centre employees to build sustained confidence in order to improve the overall client experience during what could be a very difficult and sensitive time in the client’s life. + **System Savvy** - Able to navigate many varied systems and is technically savvy. Examples of systems used in this role: COINS, ECIF, CORFAX, CORE, ADP Broadridge. + **Knowledge of products** - an asset if you are familiar with any CIBC products; bank accounts; credit cards; lending; investments; mortgages, etc. + **Multi-Tasker** - experienced with multi-tasking and working in fast-paced, often-changing environment. Experience working in a team where processes and procedures are changing and updating. + **Detail Oriented** - Complete all necessary activities related to the processing of all parts of an estate.
