About the Role
Position Objective: As a member of Finance team, reporting directly to the Head of Investment Finance, this position will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective accounting and reporting process and procedures, and focusing on, General Leger, Consolidation as a subsidiary, expenses,capex expenditure, managerial reportings and external reportings, and necessary support to tax management topics.Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage accounting routines, such as daily account posting, General leger, reconciliation,and consolidation as subsidiary.
Manage and ensure timely closure of books, and general accounting activities are correctly booked & processed.
upport the management and booking of intercompany AR/AP related transactions.
Review expenses reimbursement, payment and other finance related request.
Prepare audited financial statements according to CGAAP, IFRS.
Prepare and submit quarterly Group IFRS reporting reports in accordance to AIA Group Reporting Instructions and AIA Life for their consolidated finance statements.
Prepare finance related regulatory reports according to the local regulators’ requirement.
Perform analysis of financial performance and prepare internal management reports according to management’s requirement.
Draft, update and maintain finance reporting related policies including accounting policies of CGAAP.
Draft, update and maintain expense related policies.
Prepare SOPs where necessary.
Support tax related activities, incl. tax compliance, consulting, reporting, filing, etc.
Support in annual financial plan, budget and forecasts.
Minimum Job Requirements:
985/211 Degree strongly preferred, in accounting / finance management or other related field, with at least 3~5 years of accounting role, with min 3 years of IAMC accounting working experience.
Ability to solve difficult problems and establish new mechanism or systems.
Have a proven track record of driving accounting system enhancement/reporting enhancement tasks/projects.
Proficiency in MS Office.
In-depth knowledge and passion about science and technology.
Strong analytical, financial planning skills and having a big picture, willingly to be business partner.
Accountable, efficient, focus, detail oriented, and able to work under pressure
Excellent facilitation, quick learning, and self-starter.
Great team player.
Proficiency in spoken and written English in order to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders.
