The Position
The Senior Specialist Procurement within our Manufacturing organization in Oss & Heist-op-den-Berg, is an essential resource responsible for a broad spectrum of support activities; including stakeholder support at manufacturing sites and supplier management mainly for Indirect procurement spaces, such as ao Facilities & MRO, but also in the biologics space.
The Senior Specialist Procurement builds and understand supply strategies and agreements and associated implementation. Works with stakeholders on 2 Manufacturing Sites, to understand site needs. Conducts research and analysis in support of local sourcing plans in the indirect procurement space and potential biologics space. Identifies and documents all cost reduction and improvements.
This role requires regular commuting between Oss (Nld) and Heist-op-den-Berg (Be)
Responsibilities
Develops and maintain a deep understanding of the site strategy and marketplace for assigned procurement space to enable business needs and priorities to be achieved.
Co-lead with appropriate site stakeholder the development of program and supplier management for assigned space
Leads in negotiation sessions with suppliers
Oversee and manage all procurement processes, including sourcing & contracting, policies and adherence to compliance and local regulation and resolves discrepancies through interaction with StS Service Center and global stakeholders
Cultivate and manage relationships with supplier to ensure optimal service levels to the enterprise through consistent and impactful performance metrics
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key leaders on the sites Oss & Heist
Identifies and tracks issues and areas of opportunities and makes necessary adjustment to keep resolutions on track with a focus on risk mitigation. Builds support for proposed solutions by influencing others.
Ability to stand alone and deliver results in a highly dynamic and at times ambiguous environment, specifically in biologics space.

Project management experience
Required Education, Experience and Skills
BS in Business, Finance, Engineering, Science, Supply Chain or Procurement related area
3 years in Procurement and / or knowledge of Procurement related business processes.
Good understanding in reading & writing of Dutch language
Proven ability to collaborate with a wide variety of individuals, including management, stakeholders, team members, other departments, and suppliers.
Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
Professional expertise in Procurement within a manufacturing / GMP environment (>5 years).
Strong analytical skills.
Strong Strategic Sourcing experience.
ERP experience (SAP, Ariba, eSourcing, etc.).Coupa- is an asset
Experience working with senior stakeholders.
Experience in Pharmaceutical, Biologics or other manufacturing industry.
