Job Description

The HRBP is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units or areas. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues and acts as an employee champion and change agent, seeking to develop or implement HR integrated solutions to complex businesses and organizational needs. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

Position will support different areas, all of them from our divisions or Global Support Functions.

Main Responsibilities:

Creates and/or drives the talent and diversity strategy for the assigned organizations.Support all talent management, organizational design and organizational alignment activities within client group(s).  Direct client restructuring activities when necessary.  Contribute to organizational change management activities when necessary.Coaches leaders and members of leadership team(s) to successfully manage all cyclical people management processes (talent management, succession planning, performance management, compensation planning, etc.).Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (required) Mainly Engineering or Administration; as second option Psychology/Law.Minimum of 5 years' experience as HRBP in multinational companies ideally companies with products instead of services.Demonstrate strong capacity to resolve complex employee relations issues.Knowledge in labor relationsKnowledge in Talent ManagementWorking knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation & benefits practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, performance and talent management, and organizational culture improvement.

Additional Expertise:

This position has no direct reports and it’s a developmental position for HRBP career. Demonstrated ability to effectively influence, consult with and coach senior leaders and managers across multiple culturesAbility to strategically prioritize time and problem solve against most impactful activities and initiatives
