The Position

At Organon, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our company’s (5 entities) financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and providing financial guidance to senior management. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

Managing and reconciling financial records to ensure accuracyPreparing and analyzing financial statementsPerforming month-end and year-end closing processProviding financial guidance and support to senior managementEnsuring compliance with accounting and tax regulationsIdentifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiencyLeading and Supporting audit (SOX, Financial and Tax Statutory reports, etc) and other external reporting requirementsDevelop and maintain relationships with external (such as auditors) and internal stakeholders (cross functional teams)        

Required Education, Experience, and Skills  

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance relatedMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar roleStrong knowledge of accounting and tax regulationsExperience with financial analysis and reportingExperience with financial statement audits and other external reporting requirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP S4 HANA
