Job DescriptionThe Sr. Manager for Global Brand, Global Marketing Services and B2B Marketing Sourcing leads by example, and through partnership to drive competitive advantage and value for Visa Inc. The Sr. Manager will manage various Creative and Production subcategories where you will need to identify new opportunities for value, process improvements, and have accountability to deliver against department and functional goals. You will need a strong sense of urgency and the ability to succinctly frame issues and alternatives to drive decisions forward. This role will report into the Sr. Director – Strategic Sourcing Marketing and be a part of the broader Global Strategic Sourcing Organization.
Responsibilities:
Engage and establish business partnerships with cross functional leadership across Visa to collaborate, influence, and drive sourcing strategiesTranslate business goals and proposals into functional initiatives, established project plans and supplier negotiation strategiesBring business and functional perspectives together, helping the business to see the potential and impact of functional recommendationsPartner very closely with Visa’s Agency Management COE to measure and assess agency performance for Global Brand, Global Marketing Services and B2B MarketingDevelop and negotiate statements of work (SOWs) with detailed scope requirements, program deliverables accountability, and negotiated KPIs / SLAs in contractProvide high level guidance on the overall continuous strategic sourcing process from needs identification, through supplier contractual adherence across multiple Creative and Production agenciesSupport rapid upcoming growth in B2B Marketing, in housing, and marketing efforts provided on behalf of key Visa clients (e.g., Partner Marketing, or Client Driven Marketing)Maintain strong external focus by leveraging industry peers, organizations, associations and by continuing to build strong relationships outside of VisaServe as a champion for change that can act decisively to drive decisions, while demonstrating agility to support the evolution of business needsCommunicate effectively and frequently, listen carefully, and actively seek and value the perspectives of othersBuild effective strategic relationships with external suppliers to drive process improvements, enable rigorous planning, and execute business strategiesSupport the implementation of Global Sourcing policies and procedures.This is a hybrid position. QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
8+ years of experience in Marketing Strategic Sourcing, client-side Marketing, or within a Marketing Agency
5+ years leading the development and management of category plans or sourcing strategies specific to marketing categories
Deep understanding of the agency creative and production marketplace, including deep industry and/or professional relationships with suppliers and agencies
Advanced understanding of marketing math/measurement and associated metrics
Past experiences challenging the status quo by developing business cases for change through leveraging business acumen, market intelligence, and insights to drive a broad strategic impact across an organization
Demonstrated contract and agreement negotiation experience, including development of negotiating plans and strategies for various marketing categories
•Strong relationship management skills and ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with senior to executive level management. You need to be able to tell compelling stories through insights and data
Undergraduate degree required, graduate degree preferred
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 128,000.00 to 185,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
