The Role:
As a Sr Sourcing Deputy, you will play a crucial role in executing procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost efficiencies. The focus will be on strategic sourcing and supplier management, including negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance. You will need to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals and market trends.
Your Contribution:
- Manage Collaborative Design Manufacturer (CDM) suppliers and develop long-term supplier strategies in alignment with company goals.
- Oversee supplier management and negotiate pricing and contracts.
- Support GSM Sourcing Leads in developing and executing comprehensive supplier strategies.
- Drive cost reduction strategies and identify sourcing opportunities.
- Monitor market trends (e.g., components shortages) and act immediately to mitigate potential supply impact.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal partners.
- Ensure business continuity and risk mitigation strategies are in place.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- Prefer 5-6 years of sourcing experience, especially in finished goods
- High proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work globally across regions (US, EMEA, AP).
- Experience in strategic sourcing and international procurement.
- Ability to understand market drivers and cost structures.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Proven track record in supplier and cost management.
- Knowledge of financial analysis related to sourcing.
