Negotiate system and software requirements with the customer. Analyze internal and external requirements. Select the right brake product that fits customer needs. Translate customer requirements into high level design, which include maintaining the system and part of the software architecture for the customer project. Create system level tests to validate customer requirements. Act as technical interface for conventional and start-up customers. Support the functional safety activity in the customer project. Support the FMEA process for the customer project and projects during acquisitions phase. Act as reviewer for derived requirements and design proposals. Analyze and implement customer requirements as needed. Telecommuting: Up to 2 days per week/work from home. Travel: 10% domestic and international travel required. REQS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of experience as a Software Function Developer, Algorithm Software Developer or occupation involving automotive function, software design or development engineering.
