**Job Summary** We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer B2 with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java JavaScript SQL AWS Node.js and TypeScript. Experience in the Cards and Payments domain is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel requirements. **Responsibilities** + Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java JavaScript SQL AWS Node.js and TypeScript + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features + Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications + Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs + Help maintain code quality organization and automation + Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers + Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies + Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers + Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs + Implement best practices for security and data protection + Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality + Document software designs and code for future reference and maintenance **Qualifications** + Strong experience in Java JavaScript SQL AWS Node.js and TypeScript + Experience in the Cards and Payments domain is a plus + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail + Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model + Strong communication and collaboration skills + Ability to mentor and guide junior developers Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, champions equity and values inclusion.
