TITLE:                                 Sr. Software Engineer

EMPLOYER:                               Fiserv Solutions, LLC

LOCATION:                                 Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)

DUTIES:                                      Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor RESTful APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform. Ensure that backend services are scalable, reliable, secure, and performant. Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality features and enhancements that meet the needs of our customers and users. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Use testing frameworks and code quality tools to ensure the quality of code. Use CI/CD tools and Agile methodologies (Scrum) to ensure the smooth delivery of code. Work with QA to develop test plans and strategies.

REQUIREMENTS:                     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 7 years in any job title involving Java software development experience. Prior experience must include: Designing API specifications to fulfill new features and capabilities; Building applications using Java, Cloud solutions, Micro services architecture, Hibernate, JPA and Spring Framework; Working with REST web services, MySQL, Linux, UNIX and GIT version control; Deploying applications using CI/CD pipelines.
