Job Description

CyberSource Corporation, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Software Engineer (multiple openings) in Bellevue, WA to

Write optimized, secure, functional and scalable code, and performance tune results.Produce unit level test cases in accordance with domain standards using provided tools.Provide proper estimates for work, and handle end to end release process.Partner closely with other teams to produce an application that flows seamlessly and works intuitively with our merchants.Share knowledge and presentations to the development community as well as help others with the knowledge gained over time.Position reports to the Bellevue, Washington office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Software Development, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Experience with the above can be gained through academic coursework and/or work experience.

Position requires experience in the following skills:

Java, C#, C, and C++;HTTP, XML, JSON, REST, and React;Data structures, algorithms and software design patterns;Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL;Building tools and software libraries; andTroubleshooting, and performing root-cause analysis for large scale legacy applications.

Additional Information

Worksite: Bellevue, WA

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $137,259.00 USD to $164,100.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
