Envision yourself at Barracuda    We are seeking a passionate and hardworking (SDET) Software Development Engineer in Test who can join our cross functional Agile team. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative cloud security products that help protect our customers’ sensitive information. You will partner closely with Product and Development teams to understand and implement critical quality standards. Your contributions will help our team quickly deliver reliable and effective products to our customers.    Tech Stack:    JavaScript (Typescript)/Python/React FrameworksAWS Cloud and AWS Services (EC2, ALB, Lambda, API Gateway, S3)CI/CD Pipeline: GitHub, GitHub ActionsGood Experience with SQL/NO-SQL (MySQL, Cassandra, Elasticsearch)Postman, Cucumber, Selenium WebDriver, mablNice to haves:  Familiarity with email and Authentication technologies like SMTP, POP and IMAP, LDAP, Microsoft 365/Microsoft Azure Active Directory, and MS Graph API is a plus.Docker, Kubernetes/EKSSecurity Domain Knowledge/Experience.Kafka, Databricks.Non-Function Automation Tools to perform load test etc.What you will be working on   Able to build manual and automated test plans from business requirementsDevelop, maintain, and execute automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks to capture Functional and Non-Functional use cases.Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releasesCome up with timelines and work breakdown for releases and manage QA CI/CD PipelineUnderstand impact of requirements and provide feedback to product manager/ownerAble to write code snippets and validate API endpointsMentor junior team membersLead troubleshooting of issues in QA environmentDomain expertise in external product integrations/dependenciesIdentify and document defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.  What you bring to the role   5+ years of experience in software development, testing, and automationRequires coding, design and analytical skillsExperience in a full project testing life cycle including test case creation, script development, manual and automated testingAutomation skills and experience using tools including Selenium WebDriver, Postman, mablStrong experience in Agile development methodologies and utilizing technologies such as GIT, GitHub Actions for Continuous Integration and Continuous delivery.Experience in Relational and non-relational databases (SQL and Non-SQL)Strong programming skills in languages such as TypeScript/PythonCommon testing practices in a highly agile project environmentExperience with AWS including knowledge of cloud infrastructure and servicesAbility to work collaboratively and communicate clearly in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExperience in manual testing & performance testing, analyzing test logs, creating test reports and keeping the manager updated on the progress on a regular basis.  Experience with python, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.  What you’ll get from us:    A team where you can voice your opinion, make an impact, and where you and your experience are valued.
