How will you make an impact?
This position will spend a majority of its time focused on services that include logistic support, lab support, and sample management to help our clients focus on research. You will promote a safe and constantly improving work environment by participating in site safety programs, cost savings analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
What will you do?
Multi-function responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Equipment Upkeep: Perform lab equipment maintenance following company protocols and maintain appropriate records. This includes tasks such as freezer defrosting, incubator decontamination, etc.Register incoming chemicals/reagents, update internal system, conduct monthly inventory, dispose of materials, coordinate HHM disposal.Receiving: receive and store incoming biological samples in appropriate temperature locations, handle dry ice, liquid nitrogen and collapse or recycle packaging material.Biological Material Management: Access cryo- and ultra-low freezers to coordinate, transfer, or remove materials in an accurate and timely manner and track records in an internal spreadsheet. Using inventory systems to enter biological materials upon arrival. Support assesses, migration and update current inventory.Capture and report job specific metrics to Site Supervisor and maintain good record-keeping.Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.How will you get here?

The salary range estimated for this position based in Canada is $41,200.00–$61,750.00.
