Your Impact:
We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our India-based Cloud Operations team, supporting Fortify—a critical cybersecurity product suite within OpenText. As part of the global SRE organization, you will lead operational reliability, deployment automation, and cloud efficiency initiatives for Fortify’s hybrid cloud infrastructure. This role involves ensuring product uptime, reducing manual toil, strengthening observability, and scaling operations through advanced tooling and engineering excellence.
What the Role offers:
Cloud Infrastructure & Reliability Engineering
Operate and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure supporting Fortify's workloads.Ensure uptime, resilience, and performance of Fortify SaaS and on-prem components.Deploy and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm.Leverage Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure as code (IaC).Administer and optimize Windows/Linux servers used in Fortify’s environments.CI/CD & Automation
Integrate and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery for Fortify services.Automate application deployments, patching, monitoring, and backup workflows.Create and maintain operational scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to reduce manual interventions.
Monitoring, Observability & Incident Management
Implement robust observability using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.Proactively monitor service health, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and define SLOs/SLIs.Respond to production incidents, participate in on-call rotations, and continuously improve MTTR.
Security & Compliance
Enforce security standards in infrastructure and deployments, integrating with OpenText compliance initiatives.Partner with product teams to ensure vulnerability management, encryption, and secure configurations.Support audits and compliance efforts (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001) for Fortify services.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Partner with engineering, cloud platform, and support teams to maintain high standards of reliability.Guide junior engineers, share operational best practices, and drive incident response maturity.Contribute to engineering excellence by advocating automation, consistency, and documentation.Key KPIs
Service Availability: Maintain high uptime across Fortify production and staging environments.Incident Reduction: Minimize production incidents and optimize MTTR.Automation: Increase automation coverage of operational tasks.Security & Compliance: Ensure audit-readiness and proactive vulnerability patching.Deployment Velocity: Support high-velocity, low-risk software delivery.What you need to succeed:
Experience: 6–12 years in SRE, CloudOps, or DevOps roles, preferably supporting cybersecurity or SaaS products.Cloud: Proficiency with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and hybrid cloud strategies.OS Administration: Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server management.CI/CD Tools: Hands-on with Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar.Scripting: Python, Bash, or PowerShell experience for automation tasks.Monitoring: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK.Security Mindset: Understanding of secure infrastructure practices, vulnerability management, and audit controls.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.AWS or Kubernetes Certifications (CKA, AWS SysOps, etc.).Experience with Fortify, static/dynamic code scanning tools, or other application security products.Exposure to incident response frameworks, DevSecOps, or zero trust architectures.
