This role is critical to delivering scalable, enterprise-grade solutions that support ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and other key modules. The Senior Developer will lead a dedicated scrum pod, driving technical excellence, sprint execution, and continuous improvement across the platform. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Business Systems and is preferred to be in Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ but remote candidates will be considered. **Role Description** + Lead a dedicated ServiceNow scrum pod, overseeing sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical delivery. + Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM), with a strong focus on Flow Designer and automation. + Architect and implement integrations with external systems using APIs and middleware. + Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. + Ensure platform stability, performance, and upgradability through best practices and minimal customization. + Maintain and enhance service catalog items, workflows, and user experiences. + Stay current with ServiceNow releases and proactively recommend platform improvements. + Mentor junior developers and contribute to platform governance and standards. + Ensure all development work aligns with ITIL v4 principles and SHI’s internal processes. + Deliver high-quality solutions within defined SLAs and KPIs. **Behaviors and Competencies** + Analytical Thinking: Can synthesize complex data, identify patterns, draw insights, and present findings clearly and understandably. + Customer-Centric Mindset: Can proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and expectations. The estimated annual pay range for this position is $140,000 - $190,000 which includes a base salary. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
