Sr. SDSFIE/GIS Specialist
Job Description Responsibilities during the contract duration will include: -Participate in meetings to understand requirements from the Directorate of Public Works (DPW). -Determine which feature class or asset needs to be updated in the Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE). Identify priority attributes for each asset, distinguishing between required and optional attributes. Establish quality thresholds to meet the requirements, such as geographical location accuracy within 0.5-1 feet. Review the GIS sections of contract to identify DPW requirements that are not explicitly stated in the contract. Assess the current SDSFIE and sample data to ensure they meet DPWs requirements. Produce sample data for an area that aligns with DPWs requirements. Estimate the resources and time needed to meet the requirements for all installations. Identify gaps between DPWs requirements and the available source information. Understand the sources of information available to update SDSFIE, including TLH inspection data and HECOs construction packages (drawings).
