Sr. Scrum Master

It fuels our passion and drives every decision we make. **Job Posting Title** Sr. Scrum Master **Job Description** The Sr. Scrum Master works with the Product Owner to lead a new and/or complex product team(s) to understand the business need and facilitates the efforts of new Scrum teams and/or complex Scrum teams to iteratively develop new features and/or enhancements and fix defects. This role acts as the true leader for the Scrum team by guiding throughout the Agile processes, removing impediments for increased productivity and coaching continuous improvement. **Responsibilities** + Drives collaboration between team members and ensures cross-functional team development ( + Creates team metrics, analyzes the agile maturity of the team, and coaches to elevated levels of maturity via continuous improvement + Coaches teams to be fully functional and productive, encouraging self-organization and empowerment to innovate and make decisions + Ensures teams are trained in Agile and focused on delivery value + Serves and supports the Product Owner in effective product management + Ensures optimal team functionality by creating barriers to distractions and removing impediments + Creates a self-sustaining trusting and safe environment for teams to address concerns and support collaborative problem solving + Other duties as assigned **Education & Experience** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required. + 5 years of work experience in Scrum/Agile + 2 years of experience coaching leadership, teams, and/or individuals, and providing work direction + Must be eligible for work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship **Additional Qualifications** + Proven customer focus with the ability to lead and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders + Track record of being a team player across diverse teams with demonstrated interpersonal, motivational, coaching, and mentoring skills + Demonstrated ability to work effectively with ambiguity and evolving priorities + Advanced problem-solving and analysis capabilities **Preferred Qualifications** + Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM) and/or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification + Certified Agile Leader (CAL-1) + Experience in planning, controlling, and monitoring of products in Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP), and SAFe **Physical Demands** + Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear. + Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. + Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch + Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Every employee must understand, comply with and attest to the security responsibilities and security controls unique to their job, and comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements and internal policies and procedures. Potential pay for this position ranges from $94,000.00 - $160,000.00 based on experience and skills.
