**Your role at Clorox:**
The Senior sales analyst is a key enabling position for our Clorox Sales ambition to be Leaders in Value Creation.
This position reports into the customer Team leader for Costco/Dollarama and is the “go-to person” who provides critical support for all elements of this business. These businesses are very dynamic and exciting, and the successful candidate will be exposed to incredible learning opportunities and development.
The ideal candidate brings best-in-class analytical abilities to provide relevant insights to help grow Categories, Customers and Clorox. They need to understand both Costco, Dollarama, and Clorox strategies and can provide solutions that incorporate both. As a strong team player, this candidate will support all team priorities, identify new opportunities and go-to-market strategies through customized reports while leveraging macro-economic, consumer, and retail insights. Regularly collaborate with Sales Stakeholders, Clorox Strategy Teams/Studios and Customer Category Management Teams to develop and execute business plans and strategies to grow Clorox categories and our brands within the accounts.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Create and manage reporting and track key business metrics including but not limited to: weekly/monthly POS and business reporting vs targets, tracking daily/weekly shipments, Nielsen category/item performance, share tracking, retail price audits, ecommerce performance & contribution, promotional, distribution and new item tracking
+ Actively pursue “real time” Clorox and competitive insights at retail to identify AAA (Assortment, Availability and Activation) strategies, as well as assist their customer teams in identifying business opportunities for assortment, merchandising, pricing, and shelving.
+ Complete weekly customer & category reviews and category/business deep dives as required.
+ Complete post-promotional analyses and recommendations to team, track and evaluate special events including Omni/Digital activations.
+ Summarize ongoing performance of the account team's key business initiatives, communicating results back to the team. Scorecard performance to date, and recommended actions to fix or improve.
+ Assist in the development of insights based and storytelling customer / internal presentations.
+ Able to provide high level impactful summaries that are critical to the business, being able to take data and create a presentation that is easy to understand, dissect, and implement.
+ Support account team with ad hoc business requirements and analytics as required.
+ Presenting the analysis to key stakeholders.
+ Monitor the baseline/promotional volume in Exceedra to ensure accuracy and integrity.
+ Support the team in the promotional payment process through High-Radius and collaborate with ECE on deduction clearing.
**What we look for:**
Requirements:
+ University Degree required: Business/Finance/Economics or equivalent work experience.
Nice to have:
+ Good working knowledge of Costco and Dollarama
+ Sales Analyst capacity in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry related to selling relationships with National and/or Regional Accounts
+ Experience conducting formal business case studies is considered valuable.
+ Broad experience in category, brand, customer and shopper insight within North American markets, CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry. Experience working with sales including channel development and merchandising preferred.
+ Experience working with Circana IRI
