Join the AGS Specialists Team in the Nordics as a Sales Specialist for GenAI/ML for Europe North.
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
This role is based out of Stockholm, Sweden; responsibilities will cover segments and regions within the AGS Specialists Team in Europe North team. (Nordics, Baltics + Benelux countries)
As an GenAI Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving key deals, growing adoption, utilization, and revenue for AWS services in a sales region. Sales Specialists are technically savvy resources responsible for identifying opportunities to innovate with customers, influencing the AWS product roadmap, and driving revenue for your AWS service(s). This role will have a key focus on the GenAI 'Q' portfolio of services - Q for Quicksight, Q for Business, Q for Developer.
You will be the direct business owner for assigned segments and accounts to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. You will align and influence GTM strategies and sales plays together with the WWSO EMEA Geo team, and drive customer and partner engagements by participating in AWS field enablement activities.
You will also identify gaps in AWS products or feature sets based on customer insights and partner with internal product teams and account managers to win strategic customer workloads and drive business revenue.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory.
- Meet or exceed annual revenue targets.
- Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
- Develop working backwards analytics visions including business case and financial justification, potentially gleaned from earnings reports.
- Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS analytics services.
- Accelerate customer adoption of Amazon analytics services.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline leveraging sales force automation tools and best practices
- Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Expect moderate travel.

About the team
Our EU North Data and GenAI team are passionate about our customers, passionate about our domain and foster a supportive, work hard & play hard team culture, all with a big heart.
Our specialist analytics sellers are considered as "The GM for their business". They have revenue accountability for their country group across all segments, and need to create and execute a plan to reach annual full year revenue targets. They orchestrate across multiple teams, with primary focus on customer engagements on key deals, supporting partners, as well as providing key insights and analysis for their analytics business all up to key stakeholders in EMEA and Corp.
Basic Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
- 5+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
Preferred Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
- Experience developing detailed go to market plans
- Experience across either the Data and Analytics domain or GenAI SAAS service sales
