Responsibilities JOB OVERVIEW: As a Sr. Sales Analyst you will play a vital role in supporting the Sales Organization for the West or East Sales team. This position is responsible for providing accurate and timely sales reporting, insightful business analysis, and operational support to enable account managers to execute effectively against customer and company priorities. At times you will also work directly with the customer, in either a support or lead role, to ensure that their data needs are met and/or exceeded. Monitoring key metrics, providing updates for team/customer, analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement and supporting key business planning processes are critical to the success of this role. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Support Support sales forecasting and planning efforts by providing historical insights and trend analysis. Assist Account Managers and Broker Managers with the preparation of customer presentations, new item forms, promotional plans, and pricing analysis. Help coordinate promotional calendars, deductions resolution, and other customer-facing activities. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to provide support for line reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews. Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key customer contacts. Communicate identified insights and opportunities to the sales team, PCB leadership, cross-functional partners, brokers contacts and the customer. Analytics Develop and maintain recurring sales reports, dashboards, and trackers for key strategic accounts. Analyze syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, SPINS, etc.) and customer POS data to identify business trends, opportunities, and risks. Ensure data integrity and consistency across platforms and reports. Monitor performance against customer KPIs and internal targets. Track and analyze new item performances. Review progress and publish results on key initiatives and promotional activities. Provide lift and ROI analysis of customer tactics. Sales Planning Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Demand Planning) to ensure alignment and execution of key initiatives. Work with the Sales Team to align on and maintain base and incremental forecast within our trade planning system. Consistently monitor and adjust forecasting/shipments to ensure accurate forecasts on a monthly basis to achieve a +/- 3% variance. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field Experience: 3-5 years relevant CPG experience to include some combination of Sales Analytics, Customer/Trade Marketing, Customer Management and/or Category Management. Skills: Detail-oriented with strong time management and prioritization skills Flexibility and comfort with changing priorities Strong technical and analytical abilities Experience with syndicated tools including Nielsen, IRI/Circana and Numerator Aptitude for converting business insights into actionable strategies Ability to troubleshoot problems Strong Excel skills Strong PowerPoint skills Demonstrated strengths in analysis and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with enthusiasm and impact. Strong report writing, presentation and delivery, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, under pressure, all in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
