Come help make a difference for our patients while gaining the opportunity to grow your skills and expand your network. **A Day in the Life** In this exciting role as a Senior R&D Engineer, you will support projects related to both acute ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke technologies. You will work independently under general supervision within a computational modeling team to generate new simulation tools or apply existing tools for the prediction of device performance and safety. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: + Develop & utilizestructuralfinite-element modelingtools for the design and evaluation of neurovascular device/s. + Implement general mechanical design and solidmechanics fundamentals to drive product development for the treatment of neurovascular diseases. + Work collaboratively with front-end R&D and product development teams as well as with cross-functional team members to bring new products to market. + Utilize computational modeling & simulation to develop new test methods; integrate materials and processes; characterize device performance. + Prepare reports and presentations to communicate technical assessments and analysis results. + Generate technical reports for submission to regulatory agencies. + Offer insight, guidance,and mentorship to project team members. + Aid in the generation of intellectual property. + Analyze computational modeling & simulation results, distill key findings, and translate them into conclusions. **Must Have:** **Minimum** **Requirements** _To be considered for this role, please ensure the_ _minimum_ _requirements are_ _evident_ _in your applicant profile and on your resume._ + A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with relevant engineering experience, preferably in an industrial setting. + Minimum two years experience in using Abaqus Implicit and Explicit solvers to solve real-life biomedical engineering problems.
