Sr. Quality Technician  JOB PURPOSE: Creates AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and other dimensional inspection reports for manufactured printed circuit boards after interpreting customer drawings, specifications, and other customer requirements. You will communicate and collaborate with various other departments to gather objective evidence needed to create and submit FAIR reports. You will work with minimal day to day supervision upon completion of company Quality and Safety training. NATURE OF DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Navigates internal company software and database systems to gather information. Accurately completes AS9102 First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) and other dimensional inspection reports. Interprets drawings, specifications, customer requirements. Works effectively with and communicates with various departments, including: Front End Engineering, Production Control, Manufacturing, QC Inspection, and Delegated Source Inspection. Summarizes and communicates potential areas of non-conformances to Quality and/or Manufacturing management. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Associate Level or Certificate in related field. 4-6 years related experience in Quality including, 1-3 years previous FAI experience;  1-3 years print Reading experience. 1-3 years of related PCB and IPC Industry standards experience preferred. Good understanding of ISO9001/AS9100 Quality Management Systems. Strong working knowledge of inspection methods including sampling plans and testing and inspection equipment. Ability to interpret product specifications.  Thorough attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently majority of the workday Ability to work well as a team or with other departments when needed  Moderate general computer skills using MS Office products: Word, Excel, PDF Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer This is an ITAR plant.
