**Job Summary** We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various technical skills including GITHUB BDD AWS Docker SQL Cucumber Javascript Jenkins Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL. Experience in underwriting support policy issuance and quote preparation is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required. **Responsibilities** + Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases. + Oversee the automation of test scripts using Selenium and TestNG. + Provide expertise in GITHUB for version control and collaboration. + Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber to enhance test coverage. + Utilize AWS for cloud-based testing environments. + Manage containerized applications using Docker. + Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation. + Develop and maintain test scripts in Javascript and Java. + Integrate automated tests with Jenkins for continuous integration. + Track and manage defects using Jira. + Ensure code quality and adherence to standards using Maven. + Perform PL/SQL testing for database applications. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. **Qualifications** + Possess a strong understanding of GITHUB BDD AWS Docker SQL Cucumber Javascript Jenkins Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL. + Demonstrate experience in underwriting support policy issuance and quote preparation is a plus. + Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Show proficiency in English for both reading and writing. + Have a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 6 years of relevant experience. + Display the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model. + Maintain a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks. + Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills. + Exhibit the ability to adapt to changing project requirements. + Show commitment to continuous learning and improvement. + Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members. + Ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. + Contribute to the companys purpose and impact on society through quality assurance. **Certifications Required** ISTQB Certified Tester AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certified Jenkins Engineer Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, champions equity and values inclusion.
