Your Role
The Sr. Quality Assurance Associate will support the development, maintenance and improvement of quality systems including document control and ensure alignment with business goals, premier customer expectations/requirements and global business unit best practices in alignment with ISO 9001:2015. Additional responsibilities inlcude the following:
Maintain documentation for Kosher and Halal certified productsLiaise with Rabbi and Islamic Council of America for Kosher and Halal approvalsEvaluate supplier RMQs (raw material questionnaires) on productsLiaise with planning and sourcing department to ensure supplier complianceComplete quality questionnaires as requested by customersAssist in external audits such as; AIB (American Institute of Baking), ISO-9000 GMA-SAFE, FDA, Department of Agriculture, Halal, and KosherWrite and review documentation to ensure compliance to company or customer qualityrequirementsTrain to food safety program including Halal, and Kosher requirementsComplete 21 CFR 117 food GMP audits of the facility weekly/monthly
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED 3+ years of Quality experience in the life science or electronics industry
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Engineering, Business, or Mathematics field, including coursework in chemistry, biochemistry, or other life science disciplineDemonstrated knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO quality standards, and other relevant regulatory requirementsHigh proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systemsExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a track record of implementing effective and sustainable solutionsExcellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentProactive and adaptable mindset, committed to driving continuous improvement within the Quality Management System
