Job DescriptionThe Sr. Publicist works closely with the SVP and Global Publicity team to manage A-list talent across multiple film titles for all publicity-driven activities and select marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for engaging and coordinating talent participation in global campaigns, ensuring seamless execution across international markets.
Essential Responsibilities:
Talent Liaison – handle day-to-day correspondence with talent representatives on all publicity and marketing requestsIn concert with the team, secure and deliver talent for global marketing and publicity initiatives, including but not limited to trailer launches, special shoots, content days, junkets, appearances, press tours, film festivals, conventions, publicity stunts, and premieresHandle talent and their teams on-site (premieres, appearances, content days, junkets, screening Q&As, award shows, podcasts, radio, photo shoots), including guidance and key messagingOversees APAC territories, which include:Provide talent parameters for territories for publicity eventsCoordinates and oversees all tours/regional junkets in APAC/regionLiaise with the markets on their tour schedules and major activations/stunts in-market to make these truly stand-out events that get global coverageSend global press requests to talent and repsHelp the team manage global publicity dates and publicity reportsAttend and actively participate in Publicity staff/team meetings, Trailer Strategy meetings, Domestic Creative Content team meetings, brainstorming meetings, and ad hoc content support meetings as neededCoordinate generic interview requests across all team titles. This includes arranging interviews through the junket for generic print and broadcast interviews and securing talent participationQualificationsBasic Requirements:
Must be willing to join the Local 600 Union5+ years of experience in the entertainment industry, in theatrical publicity and/or marketingWorking knowledge of Microsoft based software: Outlook, Word and ExcelDesired Characteristics:
