The Proposal Engineer will also coach/mentor a young proposal team. It is is expected to build and maintain strong relationships to the sales organisation across the areas The project proposal team is located throughout India, so a key success factor is to be able to drive a truly international and productive team with high satisfaction in a virtual environment Specifically, you will work to: + Accountable for the preparation of winning Techno-commercial proposal ontime as per Grundfos process] + Responsible for BOM, Cost Calculation, Pricing Calculations, provide optimized solutions, prepare GA, 2D/3D designs, support negotiations. + Responsible to work with key stakeholders say CSU, Engineering, Plant, Finance, Legal teams. + Support, motivate, energize, challenge and develop the team to maximise the project + Handle customer issues if and when these arise + Other ad-hoc tasks or project as and when required **Your Background** + B.E/ME/MTECH Engineering background in Mechanical field having strong hands on experience in Pumps, Dosing, Pumps skids, dosing system, dosing tanks with accessories, manifolds, PI&D etc + Atleast 17+ years of experience in Pump Industry with similar role. + Hands-on experience in CAD, CREO, ERP must. + Proven track record in project management with a focus on overseeing the end to end process + Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with the project vision and goals + Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and other languages a plus + Experience in large MNC is added advantage **What’s in it for you?** You’ll be an invaluable part of the Product management team, a diverse network of pioneers guiding others in seeing possibilities, not problems.
