Sr. Project Manager

As a Project Manager at BlueScope Conventional Services, you will serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that all aspects meet or exceed Builder expectations. You will be responsible for clear and timely communication, proactive risk management, and the successful execution of project milestones and deliverables.

Disclaimer : The role is responsible to project manage the metal building steel structure from order entry to delivery and installation completion.  The project manager is responsible for the steel structure schedule, managing the scope of work, overall margin, and is the builder’s point of contact for the metal building steel structure. This is a hybrid office position, not a field position.  This is not an IT project manager role while some of the project management techniques can apply.

Day to day tasks would include the following:

Contribute to providing services and products with Zero Defects OngoingProblem solve field issues and resolve claimsFacilitate communications with builders during the engineering stage of projectsPerform business audit to ensure accuracy of order entry and fully understand scope of workManage and maintain backlog order management dataFacilitate kick-off and hand-off meetingsEstablish and monitor milestone dates and communicate schedule to buildersManage change ordersManage supplier items

Minimum:

2 year Associate or Technical degree OR 2 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree4 years of relevant work experience

Preferred:

Bachelor degree in a related field4+ years of relevant work experience2+ years of pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) experience
