Description:
The position is full-time remote, but it is desired for the candidate to be local to either Vienna, Virginia, or Pensacola, Florida
Required Qualifications and Skills:
+ 15 Years of IT Project Management experience is required
+ Background experience in application development
+ Significant experience managing large-scale application integrations across an enterprise
+ Ability to work with stakeholders in application development, business teams, and executive leadership
+ Strong communicator at various levels of management required
+ Experience with Azure DevOps, Excel, Power BI, or equivalent tools
+ Self-starter, ability to work independently and across project teams and organizations
+ An active PMP Certification
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
+ Application integration experience with IAM is a large plus
+ Prior experience working in the Financial Industry
+ Certified SAFe 5 Scrum Master (SSM) or Certified SAFe 5 Product Owner/Project Manager (POPM)
Day-to-Day Role:
+ Track progress and schedules for a workstream across dozens of applications and application dependencies simultaneously, and update tracking daily
+ Proactively determine next steps and best path forward based on current status and delivery dates
+ Report on project activities through verbal and written communication.
+ Demonstrate a positive “can-do” attitude and create energy within the project team
+ Identify, communicate, and support the resolution of technical, tactical, and operational project issues and risks
+ Facilitate project team and stakeholder meetings for the resolution of program-related issues
+ Build and maintain relationships with team members, management, key stakeholders, and/or external contacts (vendors, etc.)
A Project Manager ensures that the work scope is completed in a quality manner, within budget, and on time by providing leadership in planning, organizing, and controlling the work effort
+ Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting
+ Excellent leadership and team coordination abilities
+ Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
+ Knowledge of risk management and process improvement techniques
