At Amazon, we are looking for a Sr. Program Manager to help build a last mile Fraud and Abuse Prevention Program through Amazon Flex. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors, called delivery partners, to make deliveries to our customers. Amazon Flex is powered by a mobile application that allows delivery partners to onboard themselves, schedule delivery times, work through their delivery schedule with mapping and navigation functions, and more.
A day in the life
Key job responsibilities
• Own E2E planning and execution for one or more programs we support globally.
• Define the program (mission, vision, tenets), set objectives, analyze data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics.
• Development of the overall program strategy, tactically driving teams in and outside of your organization to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Manage full lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs with considerable impact across multiple organizations.
• Develop metrics and help build reporting mechanisms, identify opportunities, establish mitigation processes, respond to executive escalations, and work with cross-functional partners to communicate issues and progress.
• Requires effective collaboration with WW Stakeholders.
• Work with Business Analytics and Tech team members to articulate and prioritize feature needs.
• Work with cross-functional and regional Flex teams across Amazon for collaboration to proactively address quality related initiatives.
• Ability to lead by influence rather than authority to build trust across the organization.
• Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks).
• Work with program managers, business leaders and executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver world-class solutions that are highly scalable while maintaining a strong customer focus.
A day in the life
• Define KPIs to measure program success
• Review Program metrics on a weekly basis to understand trends.
• Deep dives on metrics for actionable insights and report to leadership.
• Continuously assess program effectiveness and deploys short and long term measures to fix gaps and enhance overall impact of program on Delivery quality by reducing fraud/abuse rates.
• Identify solutions that need programmatic and product interventions and partners with WW stakeholders to effectively manage program deliverables and launch tech/product enhancements.
• Consistently share program updates with Sr. leaders through program Flash and XBRs.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
