Role Overview: We're seeking a dynamic Senior Program Manager to join our WW Reverse Logistics Services team in Europe. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and optimize Amazon's reverse logistics operations across multiple European marketplaces.This position requires flexibility in approach and thinking, as no two days are alike. The role offers extensive opportunities to innovate and make a meaningful impact on Amazon's global returns ecosystem.
Key job responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for reverse logistics operations across nine EU marketplaces
• Lead and manage a team of logistics coordinators overseeing quality and operational metrics for 30+ carriers
• Develop, implement, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements for core programs
• Drive operational excellence in carrier management and warehouse transitions
• Spearhead planning and execution of reverse logistics peak operations
• Design and implement scalable processes that accommodate business growth in volume and complexity
• Lead cross-border returns operations for Switzerland and Ireland, ensuring service parity with EU5 marketplaces
• Create and deploy solutions to address cross-border challenges and documentation requirements
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to enhance returns experiences
• Monitor and report on delivery against program objectives
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the reverse logistics network
A day in the life
In this role, you will:
• Ensure seamless technical and operational support across various internal and external systems
• Drive programs that create innovative customer experiences
• Manage carrier relationships and quality metrics with a team of Logistics Coordinators
• Oversee smooth transitions between carriers and Amazon warehouses
• Navigate complex cross-border shipping requirements and documentation
• Adapt to dynamic challenges in multiple functional roles (program manager, product owner, project leader)
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience leading process improvements
