Sr. Product Specialist

Portfolio Coverage: Analytical instruments including Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, Chemical Analysis, and Electron Microscopy.Client Industries: Battery, Clean Energy, Food Safety.Work Location: Combination of field-based and office-based responsibilities.

Job Summary

This position provides scientific consulting to customers by recommending suitable analytical instruments from Thermo Fisher Scientific, supporting experimental needs across various industries. Working closely with key account managers, the role involves on-site visits to guide clients on the best tools to enhance their research. The focus is academic and strategic, supporting sales success through broad product knowledge and effective technical communication.

Responsibilities

Resolve customer unmet needs and provide detailed solutions to meet their requirements.Successfully implement analytical methodology and strategy to discover causative relationships.Collaborate cross-functionally with internal division or teams to compete effectively in the semiconductor, Li-ion battery, and clean energy field.Identify the customer configurations and their issues and requirementsProvide ongoing support and handle customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and dedication.Stay on top of the state-of-the-art technology & analysis trends and provide actionable information in performing technical collaboration projects and work with customers.Provide instruction and guidance to customers on new technologies.

Requirements

At least 10+ years of practical experience in R&D, electrochemistry, material sciences or analysis in the field of semiconductor, Li-ion battery, and clean energy.More than master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.Effective communication skills and problem-solving ability.Preferred experience with analytical instruments and technologies.Positive attitude and highly organized with excellent technical leadership skills.More than master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.Proficiency in both written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean.
