To help us accelerate this mission and connect with customers in more meaningful ways, Cisco’s Product Marketing team is seeking a thoughtful and creative **Sr. Product Marketing Manager** to support our **Unified Branch** offering, which is part of Cisco’s Secure Routing portfolio!
In this role, you’ll become the subject matter expert for **Unified Branch** solutions—a new, but critical component of Cisco’s Secure Networking strategy. As part of the extended Cisco Networking Product Marketing team, you’ll help shape our product marketing and go-to-market strategy, develop differentiated positioning, and work closely with product, sales, and customer teams to bring these comprehensive branch networking solutions to market!
**What you'll do**
+ Develop deep expertise in **Unified Branch** solutions, including Secure Routing, Wireless, Switching, SD-WAN, and other Wide Area Network technologies, spanning a portfolio of hardware, software, and machine learning innovations.
+ Collaborate across marketing, product, and sales teams to develop a comprehensive positioning and messaging strategy that emphasizes customer outcomes and the unique value of Cisco’s **Unified Branch** solutions.
+ Identify and lead critical and complex marketing initiatives that increase awareness, interest, and purchase intent for **Unified Branch** offerings.
+ Create compelling product content and technical thought leadership materials to engage with the largest enterprise customers in the world and cater to a wide range of audiences, from executives to technical practitioners.
+ Stay on top of the competitive landscape and equip our sales and partner teams with competitive intelligence that highlights Cisco’s leadership in branch networking and Secure Routing.
+ Partner closely with product and engineering teams to influence and understand the product roadmap—including the ability to present roadmaps to customer executives, with a focus on **Unified Branch** solutions.
+ Analyze quantitative product, pipeline, and marketing data to guide product development and go-to-market decisions across the team.
+ Serve as a trusted technical and marketing advisor for **Unified Branch** and Secure Routing, while collaborating with the broader marketing team on go-to-market and demand generation strategies.
+ Take the stage and evangelize the vision of Cisco’s **Unified Branch** and Secure Networking solutions at first- and third-party events.

**Minimum Requirements**
+ 5+ years of product marketing experience, with 3+ years of hands-on experience in the networking space.
+ Track record of developing differentiated and compelling messaging, positioning, sales enablement, and customer-facing content across written, presentation, and digital media.
+ Ability to synthesize complex technical topics and market dynamics and develop novel points of view to reinforce Cisco’s leadership in Secure Networking and **Unified Branch** solutions.
+ Experience building competitive sales enablement and marketing content for technical products.
+ :Outstanding communication and presentation skills—both to internal and external audiences.
+ Ability to construct, draft, copyedit, and publish high-quality written content (e.g., blogs, position papers, abstracts) for diverse audiences (technical, executive, practitioner, business, etc.).
+ Experience working across written, presentation, and digital media to create compelling sales enablement and customer-facing content that requires minimal design support.

For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday (for non-exempt employees), plus a day off for their birthday. Non-Exempt new hires accrue up to 16 days of vacation time off each year, at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period. Exempt new hires participate in Cisco’s flexible Vacation Time Off policy, which does not place a defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use, but is subject to availability and some business limitations. All new hires are eligible for Sick Time Off subject to Cisco’s Sick Time Off Policy and will have eighty (80) hours of sick time off provided on their hire date and on January 1st of each year thereafter. Up to 80 hours of unused sick time will be carried forward from one calendar year to the next such that the maximum number of sick time hours an employee may have available is 160 hours. Employees in Illinois have a unique time off program designed specifically with local requirements in mind. All employees also have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
