Sr. Product Manager - Technical, Plugin Platform
Description Plugin Platform enables federated management of Amazon's global product catalog by allowing teams across Amazon to integrate their business logic and enrich catalog data. Plugin Platform is a key component of Amazon's strategy to improve catalog quality, enforce policies, and bring new products to market efficiently. Plugin Platform processes over a billion updates everyday across all of Amazon's marketplaces and is evolving to support next-generation AI-driven enrichment capabilities. Plugin Platform is a core capability in the catalog processing pipeline that enable millions of sellers and vendors, manage billions of products on Amazon’s online marketplaces and physical stores worldwide in real-time. We handle everything Amazon sells, every physical product, digital game, apps, prime video, Alexa skills, home services, ... everything! Worldwide! Key job responsibilities - Drive product strategy and execution for Plugin Platform - Own projects from inception to conclusion, formulate the product vision, define user stories, research appropriate technical solutions, coordinate delivery of high-quality solutions and drive adoption - Work closely with development teams to provide guidance on architecture, design, and priorities. - Identify, assess and mitigate risks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs balancing the business needs versus constraints Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience - Bachelor's degree - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with end to end product delivery - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience managing technical products or online services - Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning Preferred Qualifications - Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight - Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
