Sr. Process Piping Designer (PSG)
Job Description An environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities is looking to bring on a Process Piping Designer. As part of the Process Mechanical team, you will work on projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, as well as private sector industrial facility projects, with the primary purpose of creating sustainable and resilient water supplies for the world. You will specifically support the PSG (Private Sector Group), that specializes in support of high tech industries including but not limited to Semiconductor, Oil and Gas, and Data Center. This person will be responsible for a variety of project elements, including drafting, design, checking, and both 2D and 3D drawings. To integrate into the team efficiently, this person will need to be an expert in Revit. This person will need a strong understanding of BIM as it relates to process mechanical design for piping, valves and equipment, preferably with strong knowledge of Navisworks Manage. Strong piping design skills, including an understanding of spacing, pipe racks, a variety of piping materials, and clash free designs. This role will be a 6 month contract-to-hire model, with the primary goal being a permanent conversion. This role can pay anywhere between $45-$60/hr, with permanent conversion salary coming in at or above that rate.
