Direct Hire position$125,000.00 to $135,000.00 /annuallyFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate solutions.Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time and improve product quality.Collaborate with engineering, production and quality assurance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, such as cycle time, scrap rate and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Able to redesign processes for efficiency.Lead new equipment & process validation activities, including protocol development, execution and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.Develop & maintain engineering documents including operational layout drawings, ECNs and work instructionsSr. Process Engineer Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (medical or pharma, mechanical, industrial or similar).5+ years of experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing environment.Preferred: Professional certification in process engineering or related areas.Experience with process automation and control systems.Preferred: Knowledge of process simulation software such as Flexsim and computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as Solidworks & Visio.Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques, lean manufacturing principles, and statistical analysis.Proficient in process analysis, process modelling, statistical analysis and simulation software. Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards.
