The Sr. Private Wealth Associate supports the sales and service teams for Private Wealth including Private Banking, Wealth Advisors, Private Wealth Advisors, and Portfolio Managers.  Integrating client service across all specialties and providing a seamless client experience are key attributes of the role.

Responsibilities

Private Banking Support:

Prepares letters, memorandums and reports. Processes payments, advances, and wire transfer requests; assists officer in opening new accounts, client account maintenance and preparing loan papersHelps to research and resolve customer problems, and provides quality customer service via telephone, email and in person to both internal and external clientsDaily overdraft reviewContact for service center after zero out if PB not availableAssist in management of customer dataIdentifying opportunities (checking large dollar transactions, accts that should be PB, etc.)May be responsible for direct outreach to clients for scheduling, follow-up, paperwork, etc.

 

Private Wealth Support:

Prepares client account agreements and other documentationPrepares prospect/client materials for field as directed by the sales team. Binds booklets, etc.Follows up on new client onboarding to create a seamless client experience; may include follow-up of required information to transfer existing assets to MidWestOne.Supports regional teams with client event organization.May be responsible for direct outreach to clients for scheduling, follow-up, paperwork, etc.

 

Portfolio Management:

Assists in coordinating transactions necessary for ongoing client serviceProvides reports and information as neededAssists in oversight of client portfolios Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of post high school education and related work experience.

5 to 8 years’ experience in a sales support role or some other client-facing role is preferred.

Compensation Hiring Pay Range: $45,000 - $85,000

The starting pay range for this position is commensurate with experience. The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
